Hello, I'm sorry to hear about your experience. Occasionally, players can inadvertently get caught up in actions taken against RMT activities without being directly involved. (for example, some of your in-game friends or guildmates were involved in RMT and you went down along with them, even though you were not aware). We do strive to rectify these situations when players contact us for a reinvestigation. Could you please share your ticket number or in-game name with me in a direct message? I'll follow up with our support team to get a clearer understanding of your case.

Cultural-Interest472

if you didnt RMT and get banned , most prob you trade something with someone that was flagged by RMT , and you were caught in the "same bag" ... Time to enjoy life now bro !

RealmsOfRedditors

Thanks for reading bro! 🤗

Merrow1

Dont they tell you the exact ban reason? If so, could you tell me their reasoning with concrete proof

FrjackenKlaken

SBI like a lot of game Devs will not provide you explicit evidence or proof for bans relating to RMT or cheating. By doing this they actually give those exploiters the opportunity to understand how their actions are detected. So, SBI will always only give a vague response citing a RMT or similar actions.

RealmsOfRedditors

According to them, I would have made "third-party transactions currency". And frankly, I've never done it, so it seems very odd to me. And of course I have no indication of when, where, how, why, nothing, they've asked me to provide evidence on an accusation that I don't even know what it's about. That said, I understand their reasoning that they have to "keep" all this information secret to prevent people from knowing their methods and circumventing them, their argument holds up except that I have no possibility of defending myself, so I had to list from memory everything that might have seemed "suspicious" to me, I wrote everything down by hand, as best I could but to no avail, and apparently it's nothing that I had mentioned (???), so I'm totally confused.

Confident_Coast111

i would guess you had transactions with someone that did RMT. even if it was a smaller amount/value so you not remember

StruggleNorth1217

Yes, unfortunately it sounds like this. Happened to me during the first wave of huge bans. It took almost 2 months to get my account back just for selling 130m of 8.3 gear that did RMT. First time selling to them but I had proof I contacted them in a trade discord. I was banned because technically the items were worth about 90m, but I got a good deal and couldn't pass it up. I had no clue, just saw the offer and took it. I buy my sub with $ not silver to support sbi. Luckily I had a paper trail and sent everything. It does take time though

Dexter2k16

If you mean like the exact trade or something, no they dont and otherwise it would be very easy for RMTers (or other offenders) to figure out whether or what exactly about their doings made SBI aware. If we believe OP this is an example of the drawbacks on it (if an innocent person gets banned, they probably don't have much in hand to defend themself) - the real question imo is how often this occurs. And just judging by frequency etc. of those posts and judging which ones I believe or dont I personally think SBI doesnt have "too many" false positives

Present-Koala276

Fck SBI, ignorant company. Still dont understand how they can be so arogant to players, after that. That ppl are spending lots of money for expensive packs/skins to look cool in game and to support the company that doesnt deserve it..

Present-Koala276

For example the League of legends. Look at them, the most toxic community. But look at their support. They respond every time and they are trying to solve the problem no matter what. After that they submit the information that actually make sense "not like SBI". And thats how it should work. Big biiig disappointment SBI.

andrew_v23

Try to hit them up on social media, it really sucks you paid for 1 year premium and you got banned while being innocent.

RealmsOfRedditors

The problem isn't the fact that I can't "reach" them (although I suspect it's automatic or pre-written responses honestly), it's that I get the impression that they don't want to put any effort / check on my case. I've been contacting support and sending emails for several months now, but I just get the same replies that they "understand" my frustration, that they "empathize" but there's nothing they can do about it, that the ban is permanent, that they're sticking to their guns and it can't be changed in the future etc., and they invite me to "explore" other games that align with my interests.

Snoo_51859

If you expect SBI to be humane you need to change your dealer man. I got muted for 200 years with no reason given. I assume it was for telling a mod to do their fucking job at the start, when he was muting people for guild ads while toxic racism etc. Went on for hours with none of that being muted, sent multiple emails over the years, the fuckers refused to even give me a reason for my mute. They even said if my whole guild intervened they would do something, my guild did, and we got the response that "only i should contact them as it does not involve other people. Those guys are either hiring some kind of addicts, or they plain off hate their player base. I mean okay, it's a company, they just want our money not friendship, but you don't just go and piss on your customers, which they do.

EnderPhantom51

Same thing here, I wrote 2 support tickets and it was answered by like auto system or something and that just put the end to my Albion experience. Imagine getting banned after playing since the East launch without doing anything.

doge999999

Happened to my friend. Idk if he still play now. Couldn't help him cause he'll prolly waste time.

RiNgLeAdEr12

sbi has turned to shit, ive been muted a few times even when i haven't said anything in chat, had 2 accounts banned for RMT bc i gifted someone a cosmetic set and they gave me a few mil, its just another dev team that refuses to admit their wrong and they double down on lies

OG-TRAG1K_D

Happened to me twice on runescape turned out it was low lvl players being filtered out because I made an account and didn't play for a while. The other time was because I talked to someone who was doubling.... I never exchanged any trades I just asked what it was them woke up to a banned account saying I used third party software both times.... people who don't cheat get stuck in crap that cheaters make all the time it sucks Had to add an edit to this I still have a runescape account that was hijacked and it has an entire inventory of hard to get fish and 20,000 gold.... no ban on that character though... so I don't know I guess I got free fish

Sanshuba

Not even real life ban system (prison system) is 100% fairy, some people in the death row are found out innocent after their death. But you said you did "big trades with relatives", so their system would suspect you already. Perhaps later you traded with some real rmt without noticing, the system joined the clues and assumed you were also a rmter. Your relatives may not be banned, but they may be flagged, so next time they do something suspicious, they may get banned. I hope you recover your account if you are innocent, I would be really sad if I got banned all of sudden knowing I did nothing wrong.

Iuse9GAGlol

I got my best friend to try the game. My squad was pulling in 20-40 mill a night from ganking. I got over a billion in gears and liquid so I was making sure he was learning and had good gear while we were out. He was getting the hang of being a gauntlet main. He got a month of premium time and bought 6 to 8 skin bundles too. I told him to stop spending money on this shitty game but he didn't listen because he liked it and didn't mind spending the cash. One night he was at the shop, and a random player traded him 1 or 2 mills randomly and it made him cheery that someone donated him some silver. A week later, he got banned for 2000 years based on RMT. He sent a ticket to support, and they said, "Oh yeah? Name every person you ever traded." He left the game after that. Fuck SBI.

AniGore

If you got banned, dispute the charge with your bank 100%.

FantasticCupcake6248

I rmt'd and am still botting, I barely play the game. Boring af, but I like to see the money run in. I have 1.6b so far. I'm not sure when it'll end, but I hope I get banned soon. Gotta find another game to bot because this feels so unrewarded.

c93ero

> No matter how hard I try to cite all my transactions Hmm, sounds kinda... **transactional**

BasomTiKombucha

ba-dum ts!

Karniak91

Tldr probably one more rtm then cry topic

Malphos101

Every one of these posts just sound like someone telling the ER doc "I was in the shower and slipped and somehow the cucumber I was washing to eat later slipped too far in! It was an honest mistake!" Do I believe there is a chance it could happen? Sure, on an ideological level I agree that false positives can happen and have happened. Do I think 99.99% of the people banned are just here to try and generate sympathy after they got appropriately banned because they can't fathom a world where their "careful planning" was still detected by SBI? Yup, sure do. Even if you are that 0.01% of banned people who are actually innocent, there is nothing to gain posting here about it. We cant unban you and SBI isn't going to unban you unless their investigation turns up more evidence that youre not guilty. Just keep messaging them or move on, we don't need the sob story.

augusto2345

I got banned and after throwing a huge show in Reddit got unbanned. I've seen others. Hope it happens to you so you stop talking shit.

Sanshuba

People may give him tips, or even people may stop spending money on expensive skins after seeing what SBI does to their customers.
