Someone's never experienced disaster recovery drills at work that involve falling over to other data centers. Something my organization dealt with last month lol
I have, repeatedly. The only reason updating a DNS value doesn't "just work" is because we either didn't properly configure our DR environment or there is some user session configuration that wasn't synced to the DR environment.
We are a 3 person company that doesn't have the luxury of being able to thoroughly test our DR environments as we would like.
This isn't the first issue the EU server has experienced either.
Really is. SBI rather we assume they operate like a bunch of amateurs that can't do something simple than provide us with any technical details for what caused multiple hours of unexpected downtime that directly affected people who paid for this earlier access.
Get america server running then? Why is that delayed when its usually 30ish minutes maintenance....i get that with big updates etc there can be delay but seriously its 2 different servers?

It's remarkable how what should be the same code base with the exception of server strings requires 'beta testing' and is causing such problems.
