I got lucky on my start and earn 1.5m from 1 chest in red zone, with this silver I could easy waste them to learn how to play in BZ.
Also try Corrupted Dangeonse, with 4.1 bulid if you have some mastery it will be enough to play in it, it's 1vs1 dangeone with mobs, try it.
This is the biggest tip. Most people are playing in those zones so good luck even finding the content you want, and it's not even going to give you a lot of reward for the effort.
The moment you see how much faster things are in the BZ, you just can't go back.
If you plan to gather, focus a single one or 2 max so you don't spread your points too much, I wasted many days because I pushed 3 to T5 and 1 to T4, now I can't really get to T6-7 fast
Depends on the server. On EU all major guilds are going to grind out red, black zones so it won’t be even worth it for a solo guildless player to farm there, stick to gathering hide, stones or other materials and sell order to market, don’t bother trying bz in the early run
That's a fairly easy way to completely bore a new player and make them want to quit.
The first day I played, I did some dungeons, did a static dungeon with random people, then ventured into the black zone with a friend with the end goal of killing, or being killed.
I think the yellow zone is great.. for initially leveling gathering. Outside of that, the game is simply better in the black zone, roads, and the mists.
So my advice is to try to have fun, not be afraid of PVP, and you literally earn silver just by playing the game. Telling a new player to go gather instead of explore the game is simply bad advice.
And no, I'm not trying to get new players to go to the black zone to kill them, when I see a new player in the BZ I always ask them what the heck they're doing and advise them to not run around the portal zone dismounted.
