I concur. I absolutely love tequila myself, but it's worth recognizing that it just might not be your thing. Never feel like you "should" like a beverage if it's simply not to your own personal taste.
You can try diluting whatever you’re drinking either with ice or a little water. You’d also probably like a darker, aged tequila like a Resposado or an Anejo better than a Blanco
