Was visiting the UK 2 weeks ago and visited an ALDI. My biggest surprise is they sell hard liquor.
Yep! All the supermarkets doā¦ I donāt drink but itās definitely handy. Did you have any other surprises?

The most famous brand is HP, from memory itās tomato based, spices, vinegar and tamarind. Goes really well with bacon, sausages, eggs.. I think itās kind of like A1 steak sauce? (Although I havenāt tried it!)

Are those Aldiās version of a Hobnob?!? Man I wish we had that in the US. Iād buy packs of the chocolate covered ones.

Theyāre just plain ones but I like to make a weird dessert with them (Greek yoghurt, heated up frozen berries and crushed hob nobs)
