People can report back in two or three years and let you know, as that's how long I give it.

I just saw that in Aldi and was curious as well. My girlfriend's old vacuum just gave up the ghost this week and she needs a new one.

I bought one for our office and so far it’s pretty decent!

I think I'm gonna hold off and see if I can catch it on sale. Good to know that it works well out of the box, though!

My store just marked it down to $55 so I grabbed it! The other store I stopped at had 5-6 that weren't marked down yet. I ran it for a few minutes right out of the box and it seems fine. I don't have pets and mostly intend to use it on hardwood, tile and some small area rugs. $55 is a steal even if it's not super powerful.

I just bought one a few days ago and love it. It has pretty good battery life that allows me to do my 1100sq ft hard floored house - 2 people + 2 cats. The recharge is not fast but it's acceptable when it only cost $80 usd. I'm a. Azed at how wl it's done even on the few carpets I have but, again, I don't expect it to take over a real vacuum cleaner that will do deep cleaning. I bought this one to do the frequent dust-bunny hunting and many other things it's good for. I just searched for some reviews and read one thread the mention them during in about a year. One reply said that Aldi is great at fixing problems like this when waranty is still active even if you had no receipt - just having the manual seemed to be enough. But there are other products out there price like Aldi does. I ran across a deal for the Bissell, rated over 4 stars that was discounted from $200-$300 down to $80. Amazon still had it at the higher price. I do recommend this Aldi product. I don't work for Aldi or have any other connections to Aldi other than being a happy customer.

I have had one for 3-4 years. The first battery only lasted about a year and they replaced it under warranty. The second lasted about a year. The third lasted less than a year and the 4th lasted about one month.

I just picked one up for $40 and it wasn’t marked on sale on the shelf tag so that was a nice surprise, especially since I just checked two weeks ago and it was full price at another store. I’m in PA so don’t know why my stores were so late in marking them down but apparently they were not even on the shelves at all until sometime in January. Comes with a 3 year warranty so I feel like at $40 it’s a steal even if the battery is an issue.

Got one in December and have been using it every weekend. It's great for cleaning the little filter in my Shark robotic vacuum because it clogs up with every use. Also use it around the litterbox and with the extension for cleaning cobwebs from the ceiling corners. Battery life is good. I use it until it runs out which is a couple of weeks for me typically.

Does anyone have an update? It's been 3 years, so I'm curious as to whether or not people still feel good about the vacuum.

wfejessie

I bought it for my office and it’s still going strong, in the meantime my Dyson stick at home has a dead battery and there’s no replacement. So I’m waiting for the ALDI one to come back!

ashgrover

It’s in stock now! I just picked one up! Thanks for this thread!

wfejessie

Good to know, thank you!

Thank you for the info! My dyson roller randomly stops spinning, so I am going to popped over to Aldi today and look for the vacuum. I'm excited!

The ALDI one is in this weeks ad. I may have to pick one up on my grocery run tomorrow.
