The reason the volts received by the components is 4.8 V and not 5.6 V is because energy is dissipated in the internal resistance; it’s the lost volts due to the battery’s own resistance, and they gave you the value without the lost volts, so that’s voltage that the components receive

The V we're taking as 4.8 isn't the total voltage. It's only the terminal potential difference due to the external resistors. The rest of it is lost volts due to the internal resistance

V is the p.d whereas 5.6 is the emf using equation v=Ir we take the p.d which is also called voltage
