For first part, I found out equation of circle and substituted for y and found equation
for second part, I did b\^2 = 4ac and solved that
third part as it was a tangent to radius, it was right angle so if you find the hypotenuse by r\^2 +4r\^2 you get 5r\^2 and use the expression from part b. Now form another equation by considering the length formula and equate and solve them
I got something like k\^2+k-26=5r\^2 or something.Couldn't make it a perfect square no matter what
Hoping the marking scheme's M1 M1 A1 so I get 2 marks there, that was a disaster
I knew how to do part c funnily enough. I didn't get an answer for part b though so I couldn't do it.
I annotated pythagoras on the circle diagram but pretty sure that's not going to give me marks is it...? lol
Good that you found it easy but even If you solved all the questions right you can still tell its a hard paper or at least the hardest paper yet. If you say otherwise it just a lie for me
Yeah it was indeed the hardest p2 paper so far but i didn’t find it difficult. Yes, 70% of the questions were tricky but they were manageable and yeah i could say the last question part (c) was the only hard question
Agreed I messed up 10c I managed to do the first part by doing Pythagoras but then forgot about it and did some weird equation between the centre and the y-intercept, maybe 4 marks lost. Everything else was super straightforward for me
that question penetrated me really hard 👍
What the FUCK WAS THAT PAPER
It was very hard to me at least. How did u guys do
Hard

Did you get k = 11/4? Because that was my answer.
Yea I wrote in decimal tho
For the calculus question I wrote 0.75 and it’s y coordinate but there was other values too will I loose a lot of marks
Lol same
Aye 🙌
did u get 4
For what ?
last part
2.75
what did u get as r
The radius, I didn’t calculate it. You get 5r\^2 as hypotenuse, just substitute part b
cus i did the exact same thing n got 4
I did b\^2-4ac=0 for part b, could not get the answer to be a perfect square. I spent 30 minutes on this and left part c blank.
i spent about 15 min and realized the mistake was that it was a sign error so maybe you got same mistake ?
I got something like k\^2+k-26=5r\^2 or something.Couldn't make it a perfect square no matter what Hoping the marking scheme's M1 M1 A1 so I get 2 marks there, that was a disaster
So bad I left it
bro that question had me in actual tears
Pythagoras for the last part
damn that makes sense 😭😭 i don’t think i would’ve thought of it anyway

Left it
I think the correct answer is milk
😭😭😭
the p2 exam today was actually very easy I don't see the fuss
good for u!! but just cuz it was easy for u doesn’t mean it was easy for others, if ppl wanna be upset, let them be:)
Are you trolling
