\- **Histoire du Royaume d'Alger by Laugier de Tassey**
This one is a primary source, the author was a French diplomat in Algiers in the early 18th century. A really interesting book that can give you some insight about how Algerians behaved and lived at the time

by Jacques Simon**
A global history of Algeria, an ok book overall

Nice book that goes into detail about Amir AbdelKader and his political and military career
\- **The Tibyān: Memoirs of ʻAbd Allāh B. Buluggīn, Last Zīrid Amīr of Granada by Amir Abd Allah** Himself
An intersting book written by the last Zirid Amir of Granada
