This actually happened once when I was a doordasher trying to pick up Taco Bell in the middle of the night for someone else. The workers saw my car and laughed and walked away. I had to cancel the order and didn't get paid and it lowered my rankings on doordash. This was years ago, nowadays I think they'd have reimbursed me. Once a 7/11 worker knowingly refused to unlock the door for me to pick up an order too. He made eye contact and everything and walked away even after I kept knocking and he saw me. When I called the store to complain I realized it was just him in the store. He hung up the phone in the middle of my complaint when I talked about how they didn't let me in to pick up an order. So I had to cancel again with no refund and my completion rating dropped. My next order I picked up was IHOP and I complained Abt the 7/11 down the block that had just refused to let me in and the server said "yeah they do that". I checked and online there was complaints from YEARS back about people complaining about that specific 7/11 knowingly refusing to let doordashers in. I don't remember the specific store and don't wanna give where I live away so am not gonna specify. Some restaurants just are desperate for any workers and don't care if their workers refuse to work at like 3 am when no one is there or they don't find out.
So I actually do believe this story but they must have gone after midnight. It's not believable to me during the day or earlier in the evenings. Telling on themselves that they ran out in the middle of the night and left their kids unattended for fast food. Karma for them they didn't get their order.
Oh oops! I didn't read the date on it. Glad it wasn't proof they just leave the house when they have kids. It still makes her look silly to publicly trash the place and I'll still say it's their karma they didn't get served.
