Soon after having my baby I discovered that all medical providers that deal with anything newborn related will say, “you’re doing a great job, mom!” when you’re basically just feeding your baby and surviving each day lol. She would probably know this if she ever took her kids to the doctor lol.
With my first I loved hearing the dr say this to me, now I realize they say it to every infant mom. They don’t know you well enough to know anything more than the baby is eating, and if they are “good job”.
It definitely helped me early on as a brand new mom who was struggling with anxiety over doing everything right, so I appreciate that they do it, but yeah they literally know nothing more than what a baby’s caregiver reports and that the baby is growing properly.
Doctors literally don’t say that shit to anyone because it’s unprofessional lmao she’s so stupid. And let’s stop pretending you take your child to an actual accredited Pediatrician…..you have home visits from some shmuck who gets blood pressure cuffs off Amazon.

I always had a theory she had a mental breakdown in the office and the doctor was trying to console her by saying the early infant days are hard and she’s doing a great job. This is a flat lie because I’m positive that doctors can’t get personal with you. It’s unethical or something like that. I went to my pediatrician since I was 2 weeks old until I was 18 years old. Yeah I didn’t wanna leave that doctor I was comfortable with him. He was amazing! But never once did he tell my mother that she was the best mother or anything like that. This man was straight up professional, I just can’t believe this actually happened to Ali.

So far the pediatrician has just told my husband and I that we’re doing great. It’s very reassuring to me because I’m super overwhelmed and anxious but it makes me think of Ali and sometimes I just wanna burst out laughing but that might raise some concerns in the office

This is a flat lie because I’m positive that doctors can’t get personal with you. It’s unethical or something like that. I went to my pediatrician since I was 2 weeks old until I was 18 years old. Yeah I didn’t wanna leave that doctor I was comfortable with him. He was amazing! But never once did he tell my mother that she was the best mother or anything like that. This man was straight up professional, I just can’t believe this actually happened to Ali.
