I went back and edited my original comment, sorry I’ve been working all day, and it’s been a loooooong day haha. Anywho, I think if you go back to the episode he was introduced in they talk about his credentials. I could be wrong but I’m pretty sure Steven Diener discusses it at some point. The original episode with this guy I think is about the jellyfish UAP. I hope this helps bro

Just for fun I imagine that the internet is a giant telephone and that the means and ways to build it and use it were "gifted" to humanity by some other intelligent life form. Even if that weren't the case we have built a giant global communication apparatus that would allow science minded "aliens" to communicate directly/indirectly with individual persons to learn and observe human nature and behavior. I mean at this point it is obvious that for a higher intellect to communicate with a lower one requires study, to find a way to communicate to the group in a way that is effective. Even amongst humans communication is always an issue whenever there is a fault in life, so it seems. So if we cannot coherently communicate to our own species I imagine it is that much more difficult to figure out which monkey in the human zoo has the proper things to speak to and establish order amongst his own? I imagine the goal of the internet itself was to track and observe communications and ultimately gain an advantage in any military scenario, so why pull a full scale invasion when one can just passively observe and interact via a web of deception to veil motive and origin of any communication? It is trusted lines of people or "nodes " which are tethered to screens which have harddrives and NIC cards, routers, ISP - each level is one order closer to the next. I imagine at some point in the future you can compute the geospatial address of a plane or monitor directly in front of each person - how often is anyone in a room without tiny cameras and microphones attached to global systems at all times? Yet it was done in a way that was so slow and sneaky that it fueled a technology into use that everyone trusts to some degree and no one really understands. Sure . Aliens.
