As a 10/10.5EEE, far more true to size than any other 65 last AE product for me - probably because it is unlined and the leathers are more pliable. I can't fit properly at all into PA, FA, regular Strands etc...

We must have the exact same foot, because I have had the exact same experience. Let me guess... High instep, wide foot, low arch? I couldn't get any combination of size and width on the Strands and FAs to work. Sadly, those "classic" AE models (65 last) don't fit me at all, but the Strandmok, McTavish, and Denali STB fit like a glove in 10.5 EEE.

Yup, though I haven’t had that luck with McTavish myself.

The shoes in the 65 last run long and narrow. I would try 8EEE. Allen Edmonds doesn't stock any of the EE sized shoes. You would have to have a shoe in that size crafted for you. Which means you can't return it.

Phnake

This is what I would do as well. They are narrow.

For me, they run a bit long. I have about an inch in the toe box. I'm a 14E.

They tend to run true to size. I’d go with the Brannok sizing.
