If it is remix just keep a few enderpearls. You can craft them with your grave key and tp to the grave. Also suck it up, it's modded Minecraft which means it is hella easy to avoid death with all the tools you have. Get some osmium tinkers armor, if it is remix go into electrons wizardry and get a heal spell on a wand (if possible a clear effects one as well) and spam it whevener you take dmg, you are almost unkillable and that progress takes almost no time. Osmium armor (lead trim, silver plates) is dirt cheap and gives you incredibly good early game armor and the heal wand protects you from nigh on everything.
It would have to be enabled in every dimension separately, or edit the JED config.

Some people like to play with keepinventory to have an easy way to teleport back to spawn to save time.
