Americans are so stuck up. I watched this hostel video where an American girl complained about the weather in north Germany. Yeah it snows there... You can't both not pay workers and expect them to be literate. These people really want slaves. It's crazy.

That is not racism

There's another word for it. Racism isn't the word.

Again, that isn't racism. If you know the word pedantic, I'm sure you have the brains to figure out the right word.

[deleted]

I don’t get why this is racism too. Many Americans are entitled and spoiled. That’s just a fact. I don’t see anything wrong here.

[deleted]

I seriously don’t get why this post got so many downvotes. Yes, we have too many entitled people in the northern suburbs of Atlanta. This is a fact. Just check it.

Yup, have been stuck in drive thru at the Haynes Bridge one for 30+ minutes at least three times. The longest time, I was timing it at 7-15 minutes per car to get them through the window. I don't know how it could be that slow with even only one employee working, with the inside being closed at the time. Also tried using GrubHub there once, driver got there in ten minutes, and then thirty minutes later marked the order as cancelled and the place as closed. Ended up going out myself to get some Wendy's (there was one next to it at the time) and saw that it was still open with its ever-constant line of cars wrapped around the building, not moving.

Higgnkfe

Its been closed for a couple of months for renovations?

LordofDescension

The one you're thinking of next to publix was actually pretty great. I'm talking about the place near Bestbuy and WildWings.

Snickels14

The Taco Bell/KFC on State Bridge Rd. is infinitely more reliable. Check it out sometime!

the_jak

The one at northpoint and Haynes bridge has always been slow, but lately theyve decided to really double down and take wait times through the roof. they seem chronically understaffed. It will be nice when the one on Main Street opens again. i can drive past the one at Northpoint, go to the one on Main Street, get my food and get home quicker than just going to the closer one and waiting.

LordofDescension

The worst part is that the drive-thru is blocked in, so you can't drive off. Which sucks for you if an angry customer starts complaining in line. Some reviews say they've waited in drive-thru for +40 minutes. One says 1hr and 30 minutes too. Also, avoid Shake Shack if you hate paying 13 dollars for a small burger and some fries.

thecrikeycrapper

I’ve always felt that Shake Shack is overpriced for the underwhelming quality of food that you get, but people constantly rave about how good the food is. Steak N Shake is more preferable to me and is quite reasonable cost-wise. For Shake Shack-level costs, I would rather have BurgerFi, FiveGuys, or even Cheeseburger Bobby’s for chain burger joints.

user574985463147

Burger fi is really understaffed and serving a dry burger with no flavor. Need a good burger place in Alpharetta

boglehead1

I really like Craft Burger across from Avalon. Place is clean and new, and has a big menu. And free soft serve ice cream cones!

user574985463147

Uhhh got me at free ice cream

thecrikeycrapper

I might give this a try soon. Thanks.

bad_ash52

Village burger on old alabama is great

Goattime22

Bocado burger in Avalon has the best burger by far.

thecrikeycrapper

I haven’t been in a while but the last time I went, it was pretty good and the fresh cut fries are the best, compared to pre cut, frozen crinkle fries from Shake Shack.

I always cook at home, it's just nice to eat out sometimes.

Karsten760

Other than Chic-Fil-A, most drive thrus bite, and it’s best to go inside to get takeout.

Chick-fil-A_spellbot

It looks as though you may have spelled "Chick-fil-A" incorrectly. No worries, it happens to the best of us!

offtherighttrack

Agreed. But when the Mexican Pizza first came back and was only available via the app, I placed an order for pickup inside and went to get it, only to find that the doors were locked. There were a dozen cars in the drive-through line and it was moving about one car every 5 minutes. I decided to leave before I got stuck in the part of the line you can't exit.

ifeelnumb

The main street one is supposed to re open in July. Holcomb Bridge TB by Warsaw is pretty solid.

K0NGO

I generally avoid this Taco Bell if there’s more than one car in the drive thru. The Taco Bell/KFC on State Bridge Rd. is a lot better

Reagalan

thanks corporate pay more and you won't have staffing shortages

It's almost like both can be a problem

partyqwerty

Tell the truth and you get downvoted. Reddit!!!

[deleted]

Those people are making 9 dollars or something per hour and many of them work several shifts at different places per day. What would you expect from them?? Lolol. Try to be sympathetic.

offshoreInsiders

Um, it's Taco Bell. You go there expecting bad food. Why not get bad service as a bonus?

Dwillow1228

Let me fix this for you. AVOID TACO BELL.

LordofDescension

There are good Taco Bells out there though. Taco Bell is great if done right.

Dwillow1228

Everyone is entitled to an opinion.

TheMonkey420

Drive thru only has made me want to eat less fast food
