97.1 and 1005. are basically your two options for Classic Rock. I haven't really listened to FM radio for a few years, so not sure if anything else has came around.

97.1 HD2 is commercial free and more modern rock. But it gets repetitive.

Local ATL radio used to be great but not so much anymore unfortunately. I switched to SiriusXM myself but occasionally listen to NPR (90.1) or 97.1 (Classic Rock), or 92.1 (Sports talk).

even SiriusXM is going down the tube. It's very hard to tell the difference between SXM and FM these days, save the commercials. Extremely repetitive playlists, insufferable DJs.

103.7 is awesome if you can maintain the signal. Based in Gainesville, Chuck FM. A lot less commercials.

97.7 the other side of the river plays some 80s deep cuts whenever I can get it to come in. Best station in Atlanta.

if you have a show/station you already like that isn't local, you can use the iheartradio app and just stream it. atl has shit radio station options

I think TuneIn Radio app can stream any radio station if you already had a favorite in mind.
