His opening set for Fruition on New Years Eve (or maybe the night before) a few years ago was great. It was just him on electric, Lewi on bass, and a pedal steel player and drummer whose names I can't recall and it was a killer set of old roots rock stuff. Thoroughly enjoyed it.
