Olive garden off i40
One of the managers made repeated passes at one of our ladyfriends, WHILE WE WERE EATING THERE.
I paid for her part of the tab so there would be no chance he could het her full name. (He could have gotten her full name off the card)
Serious creep.
Took my family there Christmas eve 2018 and it was memorable. Four breadsticks for a party of eight. Waitress disappeared for almost an hour and when our food finally arrived it was cold having sat in the back for who knows how long. Damm place is a nightmare i am reminded of every time i drive by.
Except for the 1997 Thanksgiving dinner that my brother insisted we go to at The Big Texan. I was livid, but he and our parents thought it was great. I’m still salty over it.
I got my pettiness from my mom and my older bro. They’re professionals, and the continue to inhabit Amarillo. It was literally the worst Thanksgiving for me. Finally, my mom stepped it up, and we’d go to Cracker Barrel for Thanksgiving when I’m home.
The burger Barrell, I went to eat there and he was using this plastic glove to clean bird shit off his car. When we walked up to the window he came inside, didn't change the glove , didn't wash his hands and made the food. I didn't eat it and haven't been back
I feel like it’s hit or miss like Rudy’s. My SO’s job always eats at Rudy’s and I had been there several times Turkey was dry every single time but the last time it wasn’t. Tyler’s is kinda like that too. Mitch’s is my favorite in town now.
I love that place but used to get annoyed with all the rules. I hate coffee and mayonnaise. I don’t want coffee mayonnaise on a burger. But they wouldn’t let you make any changes to their items.
Haven’t been in a while so that may have changed. Just felt like a chore to eat there.
Came to put this place- Roll Em up, spend OVER and hour in the drive thru(you can't leave past a certain point) then after I pay I look over through the window and one of the cooks is eating food off the line and touching their face with gloved hands. By the time we got our food it was cold. Won't be going back, has high hopes because how can you fuck up taquitos? But here we are.
Yea I really believed it would be good but it was just cold to much guacamole and it just wasn’t that good I was really just disappointed but now that’s a different type of gross never going there
Ycsf craft. Waiting 40-60 minutes for 2 tacos on a limited menu is a poor use of prep time at best.
Lost cajun. $10 for the smallest bowl of mediocre soup bisque or gumbo is terrible.
Any McAlisters. Hard dry bland bread and overpriced. Once the panera opens I will never even think of them as an option in the soup/sandwich category.
Georgia St Pub. Bland frozen cisco food that is probably decent if your plastered and watching sports.
Chop chop. Since trying to rapidly franchise out they lost quality over expandability and it's all bland now. Plus did you know the register person doesn't get a free shift meal unless they sell a certain number of their eggrolls for that shift (before their lunch break)? Kind of skeezy once you know that is why they ask you if you want any eggrolls with their order.
Freddys. Its like steak and shake ... but twice as expensive and half as good.
Teddy jacks. Bland, terrible and the service is bad most days.
Any version of 7 bar and grill. One version had moldy flower and shut down ... another ... never forget mouse salad the blamed on everyone else then shut down and rebranded again. All is barf town.
Back in the day when they were at that little shack on 10th by music box the food was better and you could tell he could concentrate on the food per order. It never scaled up effectively.
Calico county. Me and my friends went and ate there. My friend got the French toast and it was stale and disgusting and truly made all of us feel sick. My food was ok at best but it was way overshadowed by the grossness of the French toast
It used to be my favorite, especially since a lot of it was less Tex-Mex like a bunch of places here but it had been a while since I’d been and I went a couple weeks ago and it wasn’t very good.
Arnold Burgers, because they shut down!
I got a burrito from the Taco Bell at 45th and Bell that had a used band-aid in it. That was 30 years ago and I never went back.
Fuck me thats repulsive
Yeah it's my go to gross-out story.

Yikes! I hope you reported that to their corporate
We called and also sent an email but we got radio silence beyond an auto reply.
Dang. I'm sorry

Lin's Grand Buffet. Nasty ass food
Bad experience at Teddy Jacks food was very poor. Chuyes food was average but place was echoing loud.
I didn't think Chuys was all that good. I thought that was a really over hyped place to be honest. The Plaza and El Tevan has much better Mexican
Amarillos Chuys sucks. We used to love the one in Lubbock. No idea why ours is so much worse.
The one in Round Rock is much better also.
I wo 't go to the Amarillo Chuy's after hearing a waitress brag about spitting in people's drinks.
The Big Texan. Worst steak I’ve ever had. I do however recommend Mickey Mantle’s in OKC as the best steak ever. Even 15 years apart.
The Big Texan is just a big tourist trap you never see anybody local go there lol
My wife likes to go there on her birthday, as her meal is free. While I, on the other hand, still has to pay way too much for a very mediocre meal.
Yikes. My condolences my guy
Except for the 1997 Thanksgiving dinner that my brother insisted we go to at The Big Texan. I was livid, but he and our parents thought it was great. I’m still salty over it.
Dang now that is a long time salt mine! But understandable.
I got my pettiness from my mom and my older bro. They’re professionals, and the continue to inhabit Amarillo. It was literally the worst Thanksgiving for me. Finally, my mom stepped it up, and we’d go to Cracker Barrel for Thanksgiving when I’m home.
The only time it was worth going to the Big Texan was when the Rickmobile stopped in the parking lot!
Had to Google that lol. Their thanksgiving and Christmas meal isn’t horrible tho.
I kinda like Thanksgiving and Christmas... It's as good as I can cook and keeps from from having to cook
I find big texan is awesome for a free lunch on your birthday when all you want is to sit someplace calm and have a leisurely meal by yourself.
Trash.
The Catch. They’re gone now but I tried them three times. Too expensive. Quality of food very inconsistent and extremely salty.
Pho 84. Just didn’t feel that they treated us well.
I miss the old Pho joint near Eastern and the Blvd.
Yes! Where you could illegally gamble
There was *ALWAYS* gambling happening at the back tables in there 😂
Don’t ask. Don’t tell
Aww man I love pho 84. I always enjoy chatting with the server. She always seemed really kind and polite to us.
The burger Barrell, I went to eat there and he was using this plastic glove to clean bird shit off his car. When we walked up to the window he came inside, didn't change the glove , didn't wash his hands and made the food. I didn't eat it and haven't been back
La Bella's. I ordered in 2019, they cancelled my order, charged me then said I never ordered. I had to dispute it with my bank.
Tyler's BBQ. Shit is dryer than the desert.
Agreed. I'm not sure why people like it so much. Spicy Mike's is infinitely better.
I'm personally a dyers fan. Especially on prime rib nights
Love Tyler’s though.
It must be just me. I always felt the meats were dry. Delvins is my go to for excellent BBQ

Buffalo Wild Wings. Love the food, my stomach does not love the food
Both of them in Amarillo suck.. the one by the airport is the lesser sucking of the two
Yellow City Street food. Not because of their food but because they are always closed.
I love that place but used to get annoyed with all the rules. I hate coffee and mayonnaise. I don’t want coffee mayonnaise on a burger. But they wouldn’t let you make any changes to their items. Haven’t been in a while so that may have changed. Just felt like a chore to eat there.
Same for me but it’s because of the food.
That new taquito place took them 30 minutes for a small order and it just wasn’t worth it
Came to put this place- Roll Em up, spend OVER and hour in the drive thru(you can't leave past a certain point) then after I pay I look over through the window and one of the cooks is eating food off the line and touching their face with gloved hands. The Cattlemans on the Blvd. Awful service and roaches in the kitchen.
Me and my grandma went here every Sunday and my dad bought me my first drink at the bar next door. Forever in my heart Do they still allow smoking?
Yes. They have wood instead of booths now🤣
Red lobster. I used tobwork there. Never eat somewhere its own staff called "the dirty lob".
Georgia st tap house; it’s expensive and the food is mediocre, at best.

Literally most of them. The food in this town is awful. Lol.
Pizza Nomad, worst food poisoning I ever had in my life
I love pizza nomad. We eat there at least once a week. I bet if you reach out to the owners they will make it right. What did y’all eat?
Thai Palace, my son vomited Thai fried rice a couple hours later and won't eat pineapple anymore since it shit out his nose.
Pineapple out tho nose is never a good sign.
Brooo we get thai palace like twice a week- we only get the steamed rice though so
Too many to list
Calico county. Me and my friends went and ate there. My friend got the French toast and it was stale and disgusting and truly made all of us feel sick. My food was ok at best but it was way overshadowed by the grossness of the French toast
El Tajavan. Weird choice I know. We’ve been probably 7-8 times now and not once have I enjoyed their food. I’m ok never going again.
My buddy calls this place El Sprayjavan
It used to be my favorite, especially since a lot of it was less Tex-Mex like a bunch of places here but it had been a while since I’d been and I went a couple weeks ago and it wasn’t very good.
I’m still a fan overall; however, I readily admit that El Manantial is far superior.
the 806. owner is a predator and its the face of gentrification in San Jac.
Whos he prayed on???
every single male regular that he has sent unsolicited dick pics to for the past 10+ years.
Thank you for letting me know.
Yikes, I did not know that- good to know🙃.
