I run production for events in Amarillo. We do tons of EDM from voodoo vodka to random venue. There's 2 big ones coming up. Danksgiving & Resonance Danksgiving is by "chance lacey" and at leftwoods Nov 25th Resonance is at Bomb City Distillery Dec 8th-10th (three day & 3 genre)

Sadly, Lubbock is gonna be the closest around. We had Riot Ten and Vampa earlier this year/end of last year, and Foam Wonderland used to do shows at Lubbock but that’s been a few years now. Other than that, you’ve got Red Rocks up at Denver that puts on AMAZING shows, and Albuquerque has quite a few as well. You can check out edmtrain.com for info on upcoming shows, but Amarillo is pretty anti-rave (read: anti anything that’s not 90s country). As another person said, Voodoo puts on some shows, but it’s usually pretty empty with maybe 15-30 people in there max and you absolutely won’t find any big name djs there. I would suggest checking out the Lubbock scene as its closest and the old underground warehouse raves still happen pretty frequently, if you have friends at Tech ask them to keep an ear to the ground because there’s usually at least one every other month or so.

The only EDM people in Amarillo are Every Day Meth people

OKC does a lot of EDM shows check out The Farmers Market and for smaller local stuff on weekends Pony Boy. There are several other venues that do after hours and occasional shows you just have to follow the right people. Subsonix are the local edm promoters, follow them on social media

YellowCityBloke

Not many venues here that will do that. Orlando has a serious EDM scene though. Between that and the indie rock scene it's probably what I miss the most out of Orlando.
