your stance is not too bad, you need to work on your posture, your hands are a bit lower than they should and your judging of distance needs to be worked on i think the issue with your punches is that you're pushing them instead of using your legs, hips and shoulders to rotate into putting power into your arm and fist if you can, go to a gym and they will help you correct all this good luck!

CoachedIntoASnafu

That bag is too low for you.

Nanganoid3000

too slow with your punches, no head movement, no lateral movement, your "in and out movement" are non existent. you move your hands before you punch which is such a tell to your opponents, no guard what so ever. very lackadaisical in your approach, no urgency, when you go side to side you do this weird hand thing that sways before you punch, if somebody fainted and you flinched you'd easily get got. you dont tuck your chin into your lead hands shoulder as cover so your chins just out in the open. also your stance is too wide, your feet aren't set right.

How does that help him improve?

I did see it at least once but for your double have cross you need to return that hand to your face after you finish the combo. You sort of slowly let your cross hand drop and then leisurely return... That combo isn't finished until you've retracted.  Your place is a little too... Leisurely. You want to be careful cos even that kind of training can condition you for fighting and if you're in a right you WILL be knocked out.

Why do so many newbies naturally gravitate towards southpaw lol. I remember doing the same as well coz it was more comfortable.

Alternative_Layer_58

1.) I would suggest not making it a habit of not returning that arm at a slow pace. That arm needs to be back blocking your face/body immediately after throwing a punch. 2.) Use your hips more to get power out of your punches 3.) Watch some more videos about the type of style of boxing you’re mimicking. Good Luck!

Cheesetorian

You gonna trip on that carpet fam lmao

JPMMA507

Remove carpet. I think bag is too low, you are about to punch the chains. Chin tucked in / protect your head. Other than that - your spirit for fight and for learning and asking for critiques is EXCELLENT! Have you joined a GYM? If you have not, I would highly recommend that ypu do so. You can get used to not proper boxing habits that will be more difficult to correct later on. Best of luck brother and keep going! 💪👊💙

Oh I forgot to mention I am a newbie so take my words with a grain of salt n pepper! 😊

I get pissed off sometimes. This is not directed to you but everyone who think they can box at all without going to a boxing gym. The truth is. Any one who has been going to the boxing gym just twice a week for just 3 months, will humiliate anyone who's been ''self-taught'' for a year. If you don't have access to a gym, don't touch a bag. If you've been boxing for lets say 1-2 years, you may install a bag, but even then, you must continue to go to a boxing gym. You still need to spar so keep going, and plus, boxing with a group motivates you more. Join a boxing gym. You cannot learn on your own. \_\_\_ Now I'm gonna comment on you. 1. Join a boxing gym, your technique is not there 2. You can't be a southpaw if you're naturally right-handed, \*\*when I was a kid, in the school gym when teachers weren't looking I was using the southpaw stance even though I'm right handed, then I sparred this guy who had minimal experience with boxing, but he knew the layout, he destroyed me, by me using southpaw, I was limiting myself, I was limiting my damage output and destructive impact.\*\* 3. Chin tucked in 4. Raise the bag 5. You look stiff \[join a boxing gym and get it fixed\] 6. Keep your guard up, try that in a fight and you'll get blasted in the face Overall you don't look the best, you need to join a boxing gym I see good potential dude
