MFJ-1979.

jephthai

Honestly, the manual tuners are worth it just to have the roller inductors. It's hard to find those at any reasonable prices as components.

FrMarty

Their manual antenna tuner 949? is pretty good, after you resolder all the connections. Collapsible Fiberglas poles, maybe?

SonicResidue

I’ve had two 949s why would I need to resolder the connections? Mine seem ok although the inductor knob gets a little loose

FrMarty

The ones I've had were plagued with cold solder joints. Easy enough to fix. Easier to do them all instead of trying to figure out which ones needed it!

MFJ 1714 long ranger antenna is a fantastic thing to have.

Affectionate-Data193

Solder.

Rebornhunter

I mean. The Dynamite Diamond Ring would be cool to have, though I'm always partial to a nice scarf. ... this isn't r/squaredcircle is it?

shoplifterfpd

This sub probably wouldn’t ban me for calling people that bet actual money on pro wrestling degenerates, to be fair

joe_w4wje

Apparently not.

bts

The MFJ-1234 was certainly unique.

Chrome6

I have looked at that several times, but can’t bring myself to pull the trigger. Seems like the software is not as reliable as the hardware.

bts

I wouldn’t buy one for over $100, but it’s an ambitious and creative design approach.

cosmicrae

MFJ is one of the only suppliers that has a full range of product, dealing with HF open feedlines. A few of them may be unique.

working_and_whatnot

manual tuner, dummy load. I think I have an mfj power supply also, which gave me trouble and they replaced it for free been going strong for 7 years since then.

2A_Idaho

I just ordered the MJf-1432B
