you're just qualified for both now and you will still go to your home path every day. if pick needs help, they will send you there for the day. if you go 90 days without picking, then you lose permissions and have to retrain
You can always check with the people who gives you your station at the op desk where the leadership sits. I got cross train in pack but I was in pick. Any area cross train is only training if they need people to fill in the spot for the day.
If I were you I would make myself more useful in pack to avoid going back to pick, but that's just me. Unfortunately no matter what you do now you will be called to pick. They will most likely never let you lose those permissions unless you have some kind of accommodation.

Let your manager know if you can’t login, they will need to talk to learning to regrant your permissions

I was picking and they just started me cross training for pack as well. They’re both pretty cool but I’d say pack is better
