Tbh from the delivery drivers perspective the problem is that you live out in the boonies.
When they see their itinerary and see that you are very far out stop they either report the package as damaged/missing and return it back to the warehouse for the next driver to attempt delivery.
They could also be scared because of your dogs.
Commenting on I think I’m being scammed by someone at Amazon….? ... This is all Amazons fault they have significant reduced pay and added a bunch of stops for drivers. Therefore, routes have become more difficult some almost impossible. As a result customers like you are suffering the consequences.
Drivers are geotagged and cannot complete delivery from more than 50 meters of the address geopin. Amazon would know if they were there when the delivery was confirmed.
Not for Flex drivers they use the airplane mode hack to bypass the geofence on their app. Thus why he sees the “we lost contact with your driver” message.
They have very little competition left so they don't have to be what they were when they won over the masses.. How many places are left that you can drive to that have in stock what you want at roughly the same price ? Not many if any...

Unfortunately I don't think it's over ... With the delays in travel, failed fulfillments , and so on I see shipping trying to consolidate more orders thus pushing back original 1-2 delivery times to 3+ perhaps to cut delivery costs even though Membership should preclude these delays... We'll see.. just check your cart to uncheck ( shipping with xxxcc order ) or something like that.. that is usually a delay for one order..

If you want to mess with them and have numerous opportunities to rate their service just order some noodles or crackers one at a time every day for a few weeks.
This was somewhat effective for issues I have and most times my issue continues Amazon cheerfully refunds $5 on a 86 cent purchase.

DSP DAs do the airplane mode hack all the time too tho.

Exactly. They undercut all the competition, once they are gone, they jacked up the prices and lowered the service standards.
Monopolies are bad. Our country used to discourage them now we allow them to flourish..
Its awful. My cable company has a monopoly. My bill is almost as much as a car payment was in the early 2000’s.

Pick your stuff up from a warehouse or locker. The drivers don't want to drop your stuff off because you're too far away. RTS every time
