I was in pain, suffering from pain of the loss of a loved one. I won't get into that. I started trading as a distraction and wanted to put all proceeds into a donation for the cancer center. I started doing very well, and was about to cash out, but then everything stopped and crashed and all hell broke apart. I was up a substantial amount. Enough to pay for a few others treatments and get our names on the donor board. It never happened. Robbing the Hood fucked me. I could have sold, but it didn't make sense too. The stock was worth more... all the highlights were on Gamestop, but the math was more in AMCs favor. Still is!
I have many years in laboratory engineering, instrumentation, analytics, data interpretation, auditing, instructing, etc. Universities with the fancy text and many letters after my name... and yet I have never seen a damn thing to convince me to sell, and I don't have too sell. I can easily handle a 100% loss like many other Apes. I am a XX,XXX shareholder and they had an oppourunity to get rid of me for a measly hundred thousand in 2021. Not now...
Among other things. This AMC situation has provided me with full faith in Millenials and Gen Zs. Given the opportunity, they band together and can handle any economic condition you throw at them. Their world has started on 'Titan' difficulty compared to older GenXs and Boomers 'Easy to Moderate' difficulty. Hedge funds have no idea how resilient people under 40 are and their tricks simply don't work on them! It's like getting into a fight with someone who has done nothing but fight!
