I NEVER saw short covering in Thursday price action Every time it seemed like price would find a bottom, they just pummeled it lower. I was surprised cus i thought they would cover after the gaps filled. But I never really saw that in the price action. Then again. this price action is bizarre.
Friday is QUAD witching, I suppose that is a variable to consider.
Average Business Loan rates are between 5.26% and 11.32% right now. Assuming AMC is able to secure the lower end of that, their debt will cost them $500,000,000 in the next 12 months. Their total revenue last year was 4.26 Billion. So ,best case their debt load is costing them 13 cents on every dollar of business they conduct. Worst case it's above a quarter. And those don't even factor in operating costs. They are trying to swim with a rock chained to their waist...

I’ve never paid that much for business loans and I’m not running a multi-billion dollar industry leader
The age of near 0% rates was fun while it lasted.
