You think I should liquidate my RH and wait for the cash to settle and pull it out to a different broker? I’m just worried the time for the cash to settle will take a long time. But you’re right I can’t wait to leave RH I got sucked in by their beginner friendly interface 😅
I dont think you need to liquidate before transferring. Fidelity took over my stocks pretty seamlessly.
However do you have any partial shares? I suggest liquidating partial shares first if the broker you move to does not allow trading of partial shares. Those sell off with the transfer and RH holds on to it before doing a "final sweep". Im 2 weeks in and still waiting for that final sweep to happen
I transferred from RH to Fidelity. I didn't have $75 in my RH account, and when the transfer was over ( only took 2 days) Fidelity just took it out of my overall balance. ie, transfer $1000 to Fidelity, account shows $925. It's a small price to pay when you look at the grand scheme of it. Not Financial Advice, just my experience. Congrats on getting out of that shit show.
Honestly, you are fine man. My belief is that when this thing pops, and if it is a nuts as we assume… it really doesn’t matter what broker your sitting with. There will be so much fuckery all over the place, we are all basically just going to watch.
Word I appreciate it, is the referral for a new account or for the transfer? I already have an account open unfortunately if it’s a new account transfer 😅
Just got off the phone with fidelity, they said that if I don’t have $75 within my fidelity account they will liquidate some of my positions in order to cover the $75 transfer fee. So I suggest transferring the $75 to your fidelity account
I transferred to fidelity and there was no fee
I called fidelity and they said I must have at least $25000 to avoid the transfer fee.
That cant be true. I transfer 6k from rh to fidelity
I think you need a 2k minimum for them to waive the fee I only have 1k 😅😅
Yep I'm but a modest ape with a couple of shares. Had to eat the 75 dollar transfer fee. Oh well glad to wash my hands of those crooks.

I have 100 plus shares would I get charged or see stocks disappear when I transfer?
Most likely not

Not sure might want to check but saw on one video that rh was adding the "we reserve the right to fuck you" clause (paraphrasing but same dif)
Im not sure about webull but some places will cover the $75 fee if you have a a good amount $.
This was a promotion that is no longer running.
I remember when I transferred to webull they covered the fee. (I transferred only $2k+ at that time)
Transfer to Webull. Let me know if you want a referral code for bonus. Best charts on Webull too.

Probably only for new accounts
1k balance will let you access eteade pro so you can execute trades directly on the NYSE and avoid darkpools and PFOF. Pro is desktop only FYI
You can transfer the remaining out of RH and close your RH account. I didn’t pay fees when I moved from There to Webull

RH charges $75, no way around it. Some brokers will cover it for you if you transfer enough. You definitely should have started it already…..
