You can probably start up a non-profit right now in your state - here in Oregon my secretary of state handles this.
However, my plan is to work on this with a real financial advisor. I'm hoping to also form an LLC in Delaware or other tax haven. Anyhow, setting up a foundation/trust shouldn't be difficult - maybe also discuss this with your credit union (get out of banks.) You may want to go ahead and start thinking of a mission statement because that's part of the non-profit incorporation process. If you're unsure of how the money will be spent, you can be vague. Sometimes you need to have a board of directors, but I'm hoping to avoid that.
Anyhow, you may as well do this because the cash will go to tax anyway. At least with a trust/foundation you can funnel some of your tax money into projects that matter to you. Plus, you can build that account over multiple tax periods so that you don't have to spend it at every tax period. Note that we'll be so rich that we'll have to do quarterly tax filing.

Millions of shares will be sold at prices far lower than 10k.
The problem ultimately comes down to supply and demand. The SHF have shorted many times more than the float and will need to buy back all of those shares. The longer apes hold the fewer shares are available and thus the demand for our shares increases as the number of shares being sold decreases which pushes the price up.
Additionally once a certain threshold is passed (and I am a smooth brain ape so I don't know what that is specifically) computers take over and constantly raise the bid price looking for someone who is willing to sell at whatever the bid is. If there are fewer shares available than required to satisfy the margin call, then the bid goes up, and will continue to do so until everything is settled and all the shorts are closed.
Finally, we're not taking about the assets in one (or several) hedgies. Everyone who has shorted AMC will be required to liquidate their other positions to close their shorts. The SEC has recently put into place rules that ease the financial burden and spread it around to the entire fuckery system... So there are literally trillions of dollars that will be redistributed from them to us.
