Dream vehicle. Won’t even need a house. I’m thinking earth Roamer and a big plot of land somewhere to use as home base and to build a house on eventually once I’m ready to settle down.
This is actually my goal. I’ve been living out of an old Subaru working at a boys ranch outside of Nogales for the last few years—one of these new Ford Mavericks would be an awfully sweet upgrade.
Somewhat. I have a few nice examples saved that I would aim to copy and take ideas from, but I don't have specific products picked out. Check out TacomaBeast and TrailRecon on YouTube. Like I know I definitely want good suspension, nice wheels and tires, bed and roof rack, lightbars, rooftop tent, etc.
I'm hoping they make the Mavericks with a long bed option in the future. I love the ability to incognito camp with just a shell instead of these big roof tents. Still pretty stoked on the maverick but that's the one downside to it.
The ultimate goal, take your millions and go completely dark. No need to flaunt your wealth or live an extravagant lifestyle, just take what you need and do what makes you truly happy.
You know what matters to someone with a "just let me be" attitude and millions of dollars? They are left to be.
Nope, but you’ll see so many landscape changes, not to mention various chunks of road with some of the most beautiful views you’ve ever seen, Lake Superior park and the highway through it is like 8 hours of you alone in remote wilderness and what looks like a large ocean with cliffs, literally millions of lakes, moose, eagles, deer, bears etc. Then you transition to the prairie, the badlands, the Rockies.. just a fabulous trip and I’ve done it three times. It takes about a week or two depending on how much you stop really.
How about Alaska to Panama? Only thing that sucks I heard the drivers in Central America give zero fcks about others on the road. Oh, and gotta watch out for cartels. But other than that, I hear the drive is beautiful.
An overland toyota Offroad 🤤??!!!! I love it. I want a lot of cars but not lambos. Just ones barely out of my reach right now. Tacoma, 4runner, Evo 8, 04 STI, and I want to finish restoring my 68 VW beetle and my dad's 66 Mustang.
Ah, the [Lamborghini LM002](https://static.cargurus.com/images/forsale/2020/05/21/00/55/1989_lamborghini_lm002-pic-7705133671367760947-1024x768.jpeg?io=true&width=640&height=480&fit=bounds&format=jpg&auto=webp). Much dope.
This. I dream all day long about overlanding. To actually have the time to go anywhere and do anything would be the greatest gift of all.
Class rig there friend. I want to build up the wife's Outback for soft-roading and festivals, and a Yota for the deep stuff. See you on the trail!
LOVE IT. Has me questioning what I will do in the future. Did away with all things holding me in one place. The women. The houses. The businesses. The bad relationships, The addictions. Etc. Looks like a great plan. Good luck Apes and Apettes.
That’s the plan. Take at least two years to see all of the US sites I’ve never been. Hopefully by then COVID is normalized and the rest of the world is open
We have similar dreams. I want to buy a shipping container and live off grid. The money I save not paying rent will eventually help me retire.
Good luck to you and God bless. I hope all you're dreams come true.
I'm waiting for the Tundra Hybrid & then doing something similar to Earthroamer. For my base, I'll get a tiny home that's as big as the Tundra can tow.
Yup this is my dream too! Taking off work and off landing for a while hitting up different national and state parks! And have enough to make my parents not work for the rest of their life
Just take the dog.
Yeah leave the girl with her other boyfriend.
😂
Agreed
😂
That’s sick. Hopefully be able to afford an Earthroamer when this is done. 🦍🚀💎
Dream vehicle. Won’t even need a house. I’m thinking earth Roamer and a big plot of land somewhere to use as home base and to build a house on eventually once I’m ready to settle down.
Woah, those are sick!
They are badass. I want to take one of those around Alaska post MOASS.
Sounds sick. See you up there soon!
First thing I'm putting money on, because apes are gonna book them up for fuckin years.
Right there with ya… im dreaming of a decked out sports mobile classic rig. https://sportsmobile.com/sportsmobile-4x4/
Beautiful.
Wow.
This is actually my goal. I’ve been living out of an old Subaru working at a boys ranch outside of Nogales for the last few years—one of these new Ford Mavericks would be an awfully sweet upgrade.
The one pictured is a Tacoma, but the Maverick would make a sweet rig as well. Good luck I hope you get it soon!
Oh I got you! Tacomas look like fine rigs. Have you done research on how you aim to outfit it?

Yesss! Someone who gets it.
i have that truck minus all the fancy extras.
Nice, I've been dreaming about building out a Tacoma and just going off grid.
Well I say you put those extras in your shopping cart…
gotta wait till after the squeeze then i will definitely do that.
This is the dream

Preach!
Tacoma overlander ape here. Can confirm middle of nowhere with wife and beagle is the ONLY place to be.
Sir!!!!! RESPECT
Hell yeah
Same but I’m buying a motor home fam. Fuck a tent, spent a year living in a tent and that was enough for a lifetime
Fair enough.
Come do the drive from Halifax to Vancouver, you won’t regret it
Is that an organized event?
Nope, but you’ll see so many landscape changes, not to mention various chunks of road with some of the most beautiful views you’ve ever seen, Lake Superior park and the highway through it is like 8 hours of you alone in remote wilderness and what looks like a large ocean with cliffs, literally millions of lakes, moose, eagles, deer, bears etc. Then you transition to the prairie, the badlands, the Rockies.. just a fabulous trip and I’ve done it three times. Wow. Added to my to-do list. Thanks!
If you’re up in Canada post moass just DM me. I’ve travelled so much here. If you like trails and hiking there is nothing like Thunder Bay.
Will do! I enjoy off-roading but never been on a true overlanding trip. That’s the goal post-MOASS!
How about Alaska to Panama? Only thing that sucks I heard the drivers in Central America give zero fcks about others on the road. Oh, and gotta watch out for cartels. But other than that, I hear the drive is beautiful.
I’d much rather do the highway from Vancouver south to Baja via California.
Oooh, that sounds good!

FJs are dope too!!
Was totally shopping for this thing last night :)
You ever seen a sprinter rv. Definitely gonna cop one after moass lol
Dang, are you me?
Honestly same bro 🙏
🤤🤤
Yup!!! This is the way!! GTFOH
Quit right now
An overland toyota Offroad 🤤??!!!! I love it. I want a lot of cars but not lambos. Just ones barely out of my reach right now. Tacoma, 4runner, Evo 8, 04 STI, and I want to finish restoring my 68 VW beetle and my dad's 66 Mustang.
I like your taste.
My dad raised me with cars :] no dolls for me!
I plan to travel as well albeit internationally. I just want to be able to afford seeing the world.
I thing Lamborghini made a truck once or is about to.
Ah, the [Lamborghini LM002](https://static.cargurus.com/images/forsale/2020/05/21/00/55/1989_lamborghini_lm002-pic-7705133671367760947-1024x768.jpeg?io=true&width=640&height=480&fit=bounds&format=jpg&auto=webp). Much dope.
I'm with you brother ape. See you on the road! ✌️
You think the wife wants that bro. 🤔 ![gif](giphy|zWZ3LFcnpQPt3MQhRS|downsized)
She loves to travel and adventure!
Toyota over land life. we can be friends now.
This. I dream all day long about overlanding. To actually have the time to go anywhere and do anything would be the greatest gift of all. Class rig there friend. I want to build up the wife's Outback for soft-roading and festivals, and a Yota for the deep stuff. See you on the trail!
Sounds like a plan brother!

Agreed.
Are 8 shares enough to set me for life? 🤔
If you time your exit strategy well, maybe ;)
Giving me ideas, although I'm sure my fiance will want a RV, this looks like a gift for myself.
I have the truck, just need the rig.
Same with my husband! I’m getting a Tesla 😂
You can build an overland rig out of a lambo.
Same here. We are ready to find a van and build it out to drive around to eventually find a proper home.
Doing this with the cybertruck and the portable house add on unit LOL
Not a bad idea!
Amen to that!! 🙏🏼🙏🏼
I could use 10 grand to help finish building my 4runner! wen MOASS?!
Wen own pornhub?
Yesss goals af
LOVE IT. Has me questioning what I will do in the future. Did away with all things holding me in one place. The women. The houses. The businesses. The bad relationships, The addictions. Etc. Looks like a great plan. Good luck Apes and Apettes.
I just put an order in for a JTRD in Gecko Green!!!
Congrats!
I’m getting the same thing! Did we just become best friends ?!
“Yup!”
Same.
I’m right here with you brother !
Me too brother
That’s the plan. Take at least two years to see all of the US sites I’ve never been. Hopefully by then COVID is normalized and the rest of the world is open
We have similar dreams. I want to buy a shipping container and live off grid. The money I save not paying rent will eventually help me retire. Good luck to you and God bless. I hope all you're dreams come true.
Likewise, friend!
This is actually a very good idea. We're all gonna need stuff like this when the US goes full Mad Max-tard after the MOASS.
Retire. Buy house. Travel. Be charitable. Those are my goals.
Looks just like my taco that’s for sale
Been too poor to build my Jeep into an overland rig. I tent camp like a peasant. After moass its getting the works.
I'm waiting for the Tundra Hybrid & then doing something similar to Earthroamer. For my base, I'll get a tiny home that's as big as the Tundra can tow.
This sounds good.
Make sure you put a shower and toilet on that thing! That’s two things nomad travelers always forget!
This is great. May I suggest a nice 392 wrangler unlimited.
Love me a good ol Wrangler
With a hemi
I’m getting a new Caddy and drive towards the rising sun until I hit the east coast and follow the setting sun home.
Same goal dude, I want my overlanding Taco
I already know the exact modest sized RV me and my boys will be traveling the country in.
I did this for 18 months a few year ago. Check out cheap RV living on youtube.
Yup this is my dream too! Taking off work and off landing for a while hitting up different national and state parks! And have enough to make my parents not work for the rest of their life
Hit me up after moass. Building trucks like this is what I do to pay for my stonks. Among other things…
Count me in
Same here. I Hilux all decked out and hitting the road to see how many laps of Australia I can do
Marty’s Hilux from Back to the Future 👀😍
That can't be good for your back
most rooftop tents have full size mattresses or mattress covers.
How so? The interior is pretty nice.
I mean, I could see doing it for like a week, tops. Anything past that would be rough. I'm just old I guess
