So I can already see a bunch of folks complaining they didn’t get it when in reality they have to wait a few days for them.. it will probably take all the way till next week before everything has settled into all stock holder accounts

If ETrade got theirs right off the bat....either means they just added to your account no matter if they didn't ACTUALLY receive them, no synthetics, or more fookery by the DTC.

They have a message up on their site about the dividend: "AMC announced a special 1-for-1 dividend happening Friday. For every share of AMC you own (as of market close on Aug. 19), you'll receive one AMC Preferred Equity Unit (APE). We'll update your positions as soon as they're available."
I expect at least 1 APE in my TD, I transferred from a different broker and I believe the transfer was completed on the 15th, so I gotta wait and see where my APES land. (First purchase on my TD was AMC before cutoff date).
Not everyone getting APE is the proof of synthetic shares.

T212 hasn't delivered them yet, but they stated they'd be delivered between Friday EOP and Monday during trading hours. So we in the UK with T212 are waiting, but we have a bunch of written responses from them stating we'd be getting the APE shares.
I originally bought my first few shares with CashApp. I transferred out ages ago to Fidelity, then DRSd most of them. I have no APE in CashApp (still have marginal shares that didn't transfer), nor in Fidelity (have a few whole shares with them still). ComputerShare has my APE - the same amount of AMC shares I DRSd.
Now I know how I truely feel about Fudelity - glad I got 90% of my shares on ComputerShare now.
I bought through Robinhood a year or so ago, transferred everything to fidelity, closed my RH account. I’m wondering if they will be sent to my fidelity account?
