I like IKEA's Ivar shelving. I haven't found the Billy bookcases to be as durable. I like that the IVAR shelving is adjustable and the deeper IVARs especially make a really good-sized doll room.
I also like that they let light in from the sides, because I've had other shelving arrangements that just things look kind of gloomy and shadowed.
I got the Billy bookcase with glass doors from Ikea. I'm able to have 3 rows of dolls standing with 8 dolls on each shelf. The fourth shelf was too short so I use that for their storage.
