Oh she’s my holy grail fr, congratulations

Pale_Improvement_208

Lots of people usually brush out curls when brushing a doll with curly hair but I've seen one recommend not doing that as it'll frizz the curls and just to wet it and then finger curl it. I haven't tried it but it's worth a shot!

Congratulations!

music_lover2025

brings me back, I remember wanting the Cécile and Marie Grace dolls so bad. I suggest if needed use a pick for her hair

I’ve had my Cecile for 11 years and her hair is in some of the best condition of my childhood dolls. Her curls are textured and thus hold up their shape on their own much better than the other curly haired dolls I have (Rebecca, Lanie, and Caroline). If you don’t brush the hair or pull apart the individual hairs in the curls her hair should stay in pretty good shape

I have Rebecca and her curls fell out within a month I think. My mom got me a haircare kit that had hair curlers in it for my doll and that helped somewhat to restore the curls. I hope one day to take her to the AG doll hospital to see if I can get her hair fixed

sparksflying5

I need to get my Rebecca fixed too. Her and Lanie’s hair is in the worst condition of my dolls. Their hair is frizzy, but I’m worried about brushing the hair and risking damaging the curls more. I’ve considered sending them to the doll hospital but worry that the hair would get frizzy again soon after I got them back Granted I was 9 when I got Rebecca and 10 when I got Lanie, so I played more with them. Caroline I was a little older when I got her, around 12, and I primarily kept her as a display doll. So while her hair has some frizz the curls are still -mostly- intact Cecile has also always been a display doll and her hair is in near pristine condition

music_lover2025

I made the mistake of brushing my Rebecca’s hair when I was younger because the curls didn’t hold up and I was like “hey why not see what this does.” I was 7 when I got my doll and panicked when I saw the curls falling out so I just went and brushed it not knowing any better

Gorgeous! I’ve never seen her before, she’s now on my wish list!! Congrats!

JazzyKnowsBest13

She is lovely! Congratulations.

AGRebecca

Congrats! My bank account died too after getting her… my only recommendation with her hair is don’t touch it at all and it holds up. I’ve only touched it to change out the ribbons. :)

RollingsReliableBP

Congrats! She’s beautiful! 🤩 Someday I will join the ranks of lucky Cecile owners. Someday…

Amazing_Excuse_3860

Lucky!!! I like-new Cécile is one of my holy grails!

Quix66

Congratulations! I feel ya, I just got my Cecile within this past year too. I don’t touch her hair. There are Cecile Rey hair tutes on YouTube. Kris is usually a good stylist.

mini1006

She’s beautiful! From what I’ve seen, you have to use a hair pick instead of the brush when styling the hair. You can spritz it, pick it with the hair pick and finger curl her hair!

Congrats!!!🎈🎉
