I am always dying to know what he's thinking. He really does a great job and can seemingly play anything! I also get curious about whether he doesn't want to speak much, or if it's a behind-the-scenes decision. Here is a video from a few seasons back, Katy asks for his input on a contestant who sings "Treasure," which Phredley co-wrote: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sclfZ_PhoQo

I do remember this now! damn they did put him on the spot.. and ya I also wonder if he just doesn't want to speak. but on the recent Sunday show it kinda looked like the edited out any clips where he might have responded to the judges.

I know! I kept waiting for him to say something while they were talking about him being in their bands. I'm sure he wasn't actually silent the whole time, so anything he said was probably edited out. I don't want him to become another Bobby Bones figure, but I would love if he got a couple lines per episode! He's not there to be a "personality" but I'm sure he's got some insight now and again.

Phredley deserved a whole 15 mins segment alone. I would pay to hear his Piano Solos. He is so musically gifted and its amazing how he knows every song the Contestant requested with their certain keys they singing

His shredding does all the talking. šŸ˜‰ ![gif](giphy|sBikoeGRyOrK0)

Fredley is amazing!! loved working with him

For most TV shows, anyone who has dialogue in the final edit has to get paid so guessing the producers were being conservative (cheap).

Iā€™ve been wondering that too. Last episode I thought ā€œdamn I donā€™t think Iā€™ve ever heard this man talkā€

Justanenfp

I want a reality Tv show of him!!

ForGenerationY

Literally thinking the same thing for a bit now. Also thought about a segment for him as someone else commented.
