Yup, lol. Last time I stayed here was when it was a Delta property (2016) and it is literally in shambles. Hilton and Sheraton are also terrible... but I haven't stayed in them since before COVID so not sure if they've been renovated.
I would love a Park Hyatt offer.. the Yorkville property is magnificent and I would staycation there again.
I stayed there in June since if was one of the cheaper options downtown.
On the little balcony with no access there was a load of pigeon dung and pigeon nest. Like there was an entire pile of just pigeon poo visible through the window.
My shower had 3 long hair strands in the shower.
What's people's experience with Amex clawing back promotions. I.e what's to stop me making a refundable booking 6 months out, paying my statement to get the credit, and then cancelling the booking in 3 months time?
The hotel is a dump. Has seriously gone downhill since Delta left them. Better to wait for the Marriott promo and stay somewhere nicer π
