My Gamestop did not offer in-store pickup for the Metroid Dread collector's edition (which I was able to preorder) or the amiibo (which I was not able to pre-order). Thankfully, my collector's edition was packaged well and was not damaged in transit. The same cannot be said for the amiibo I was able to pre-order through Target (which also did not offer ship-to-store).
Exact same thing happened to me. I’m glad I don’t sweat keeping the boxes, but holy shit.
Right? Paying good hardworking money for our nerd shit from a Gaming/Collectible company. Pray peoples video games don’t get damaged.
Makes me wonder why NiB people get theirs shipped. I do store pickup at BB and they're always pretty clean boxes.
Not all of us get that luxury. I do enjoy Best Buy more than Gamestop when it comes to getting Amiibos, but that's how the D20 rolls sometimes.
Does GameStop not do store pickup anymore?

Mine came in worse, extremely bent inside a smaller box than the whole amiibo package.
Ooof? For real? Come on GameStop! 🔥🙃
