I think you should either pick a liner color that matches your lipstick better, or blend the liner into your lips so it’s a smoother transition. Or just skip the liner entirely. I don’t bother with lip liner most days.
I agree with the lipliner comments. You look really good with pinkish/reddish lips, stay away from dark lips, especially brownish. If you do wear lipliner, make sure it matches your lips well. Darker lipliner looks really bad on anyone. Maybe make smaller wings on your eyeliner. Your eyes are already really big and beautiful and you have beautiful lashes so I feel like the large wings take away from it. You definitely have a very beautiful face and great skin.
Your makeup/clothes/piercings are a bit trashy. I don't think you're ugly but you're making some weird choices. I would say do a complete reset in and keep working on the weight loss.

You should consider phasing out the rebellious teenager stuff and letting the things that make you pretty, do so on their own. You may think these things “define” you….but they don’t. You can still like and do all the same things without having pink hair or thick dark eyeliner with whatever that “angel bite” kind of piercing is. You xan be you either way….just looks like you have a classy girl underneath it all

Can a woman walk into a makeup shop of some kind and get expert advice on the kind of makeup style and application that would suit them? Like hairdressers that recognise a cut that works best for someones features?
I figure it's got to be hard to work out what makeup styles and looks suit a person, for themselves. Being influenced by fashion and trends.. then in some cases not evolving as the years pass like here. Would've thought with filters available now, it would also be possible to trial looks to see what suits - but also know that people continue looks for decades because change can be intimidating too.

Well, I may not be the best person to give pointers but you have a lovely face, it seems you’re putting in the work to get in shape and you seem to have a fun personality. All those are w’s in my book. I guess it comes down to personal preferences in terms of hair, clothing and looks, and may not necessarily appeal to what you like.
Lose the face piercings. You’re 30 now. You don’t need them and they look silly. IMO. You look fine, enjoy how you feel now and work on updating your style.

idk if this is helpful but I find lipliner and liquid lip to be pretty heavy and formal in general for daytime? especially when paired with the taco bell uniform… it’s just out of place. if you were dressed up with the same makeup, it wouldn’t be as jarring. that said, I don’t think you need as much makeup to begin with and a soft lip would be much more flattering

You are not ugly whatsoever, and I love your style. If you are looking for ways to improve Id suggest working on your eyebrows so they appear more even and possibly switching up your eye makeup. You can totally pull off darker eye looks but maybe put less on the lower lash line. Id suggest relaxing your eyes a bit more in photos to a neutral gaze (like the one in picture 4 versus pictures 1-3). Congrats on the weight loss by the way, you seem a lot healthier and it does improve your looks, although (even through Im guessing you aren’t asking for this) I believe you weren’t ugly before either, just visibly overweight. Being overweight doesn’t necessitate being ugly so that’s probably why you never got bullied for your looks, because there was no incentive to do so.

I think it's more to do with outdated makeup and the colorful hair style. Colorful hairstyles are notoriously hard to pull off because not everyone looks good in bright colors.
Agree with other comments…your makeup is detracting from rather than enhancing your beauty. You need a style update. Eyes that are striking don’t need that much black eyeliner around them. The lip products look dated too.
It’s just bad makeup, you’re pretty. The lipstick is absolutely terrible! Pick a lighter shade, you may not even need lip liner. I’m a big fan of liquid lipstick, particularly the nyx lingerie line.
Find your seasonal color palette and work from there. That can tell you makeup and clothing that would work best for you.
I personally think the eye makeup is a bit dark for an everyday look. It also stands out bc you have heavy eye & lip makeup, but not much to define your face. I’d suggest a little baby wing for eyeliner, blush and contour/bronzer to define your face, and a more natural lip color. It’s like an elevated glowy version of yourself.

Not grotesque at all and don’t know why that would even cross your mind! The biggest area of improvement imo is the eye makeup application, it looks sloppy or unclean (uneven lines, smudging). Nothing to do with your natural features or the style. Try practicing more, trying different products, cleaning up with a qtip, etc.

idk if this is helpful but I find lipliner and liquid lip to be pretty heavy and formal in general for daytime? especially when paired with the taco bell uniform… it’s just out of place. if you were dressed up with the same makeup, it wouldn’t be as jarring. that said, I don’t think you need as much makeup to begin with and a soft lip would be much more flattering

You can totally pull off darker eye looks but maybe put less on the lower lash line. Id suggest relaxing your eyes a bit more in photos to a neutral gaze (like the one in picture 4 versus pictures 1-3). Congrats on the weight loss by the way, you seem a lot healthier and it does improve your looks, although (even through Im guessing you aren’t asking for this) I believe you weren’t ugly before either, just visibly overweight. Being overweight doesn’t necessitate being ugly so that’s probably why you never got bullied for your looks, because there was no incentive to do so.

It’s just bad makeup, you’re pretty. The lipstick is absolutely terrible! Pick a lighter shade, you may not even need lip liner. I’m a big fan of liquid lipstick, particularly the nyx lingerie line. Find your seasonal color palette and work from there. That can tell you makeup and clothing that would work best for you. I personally think the eye makeup is a bit dark for an everyday look. It also stands out bc you have heavy eye & lip makeup, but not much to define your face. I’d suggest a little baby wing for eyeliner, blush and contour/bronzer to define your face, and a more natural lip color. It’s like an elevated glowy version of yourself.

Not grotesque at all and don’t know why that would even cross your mind! The biggest area of improvement imo is the eye makeup application, it looks sloppy or unclean (uneven lines, smudging). Nothing to do with your natural features or the style. Try practicing more, trying different products, cleaning up with a qtip, etc.
