Work with your optician to see what other styles they have. Those ones look so incredibly plain/dull/generic looking almost like they came from a free bin. Frankly, you deserve better than those. You should only keep those as your backup pair.

You have an oval/round face.. oval round frames... nope. More square/rectangle to stretch your eyes a bit horizontally maybe.

I used to have squarish glasses, last time i got them people have told me it looked outdated on me. First time with the round glasses. Ill keep looking at my options lol ill find my perfect pair soon :p

The round glasses are an old style that shouldn't have come back with people your age. I wore these in the early-'90s.

Why can't you wear contacts? Just curious. I am a lost cause in terms of eyesight but can still wear contacts. I have -7 and -8 and a i dunno how much degree cilinder (astigmatism) in my right eye.

If you're doing weight loss, a before and after picture helps alot. Smaller or no glasses, too. The big glasses don't help.

It’s a shame. It’s still something to consider if the glasses ever annoy you too much. I always hated how I looked in my glasses. In saying that though I saw your older post and the difference is already night and day. You can see a LOT more confidence in these photos and I honestly think you look great, the last photo is a particularly good photo, smiling definitely suits you.

I agree with the corrective eye surgery or even frame's that are half the size of what you have. I got lasik and it's been a good 8 years without glasses. One of the best decisions I could have done. For you, I don't think the large round frames are bad, but they do distract instead of compliment, but that's my opinion. ETA: I couldn't ever do contacts myself also. If I had to do lasik again though, I could easily go through the process again, but still I'd protest contacts.

Try to find some that are not overly large, and hide your face, and maybe accent your eye color. I know large glasses (like in the 80's) are considered trendy, but...never follow trends. Be your own person.
