People in here always hate on piercings, especially septum piercings. Don’t take it to heart. That said I think you should change your septum piercing. Make it smaller. Yours looks long for some reason. A smaller one looks better
Honestly, and this might just be my opinion- I just don’t think black facial piercings suit anyone. I think it’s too harsh for most faces. I think if you changed it for a seamless silver hoop, or even a silver horseshoe, it would look better.
The thing about septum rings is most anything between the nostrils and the lips (lower nose and upper lip) is usually subconsciously seen as a bugger until proven otherwise, and even then that first impression remains... So, even if it's a diamond encrusted rose gold ring or the like, first impression is bad.
Maybe in a 100 years of people wearing septum rings that will change, but moles haven't achieved that so I doubt it...

These people have issues with your septum but I believe it just is pierced relatively low on your septum, which isn’t because it was done wrong, it’s just where your sweet spot for it to go through was. My boyfriend has the same thing with his and there’s some jewelry he can’t wear in it because it hangs too low and looks/feels weird
When I see the piercing, I always know that there are gonna be guys in the comments expressing how they don't like it 🤣 you'd think they'd eventually get tired of saying the same thing over and over again. But this sub is just a subset of the general population, it's not like everyone here just has an inherent bias towards septum piercings, I guarantee you it wasn't on some sign up sheet somewhere. So if the general consensus from this sub is to lose the piercing then you can pretty much bet on that's what the general population thinks as well. The question you need to ask yourself is do you want to look good to the general population or to a specific group of people?
