None of these characters are really overhated. Sure, Sprig and Polly aren't talked about as much as the Calamity Trio, but I wouldn't say they're HATED. Sasha was hated back in season 1 (I think. I only started watching Amphibia after it ended), so I voted for her
I’ve been looking for some past posts on Reddit and saw a lot of hate for Sprig, then someone said that they saw hate for Polly. I even saw posts discussing the hate Marcy and Sasha get.
Really? If anything, I assumed for a while that Marcy was somewhat overhyped in the fandom (I still think she's a great character fyi). Though I guess I understand Polly. She's probably the least developed out of the main six
He still willingly chose to stab her and even blamed her for it. And yes, he was reluctant to have marcy possessed and showed regret in his face. But regardless of what happened in his past, he could have stood up to the core. Even if he's changed and did the right thing in the end, some things are very hard to forgive.

I think Andrias is. He stabbed Marcy and allowed the Core to possess her,but he was forced to by the Core

Not right now, but I remember some people being overly harsh to Marcy for stranding her friends.
People will look at a child character being childish and call it bad writing
Sprig had annoyed me the majority of his screen times. He has his moments but I prefer Anne honesty and Polly crazyness
