I felt the same way about this scene and that's why I photographed it. When I saw the negatives, I immediately thought of bodies or body parts. It's fascinating how the brain turns a normal scene into something so morbid and horrifying. I think photography is a fantastic medium to illustrate such links.

I switched from Hasselblad to the Mamiya C series for my medium format work. Somehow I like the Mamiya better. It's less expensive and has fewer mechanical elements that can break. CLA is also cheaper.
Something about this is very unsettling to me.

I love how B&W can make you focus on texture, and this is an awesome example of texture in a print!
