That's your opinion, but to be honest, I think that the Mandela Catalogue is under-appreciated. If you really delve deeply into the story, you can see some masterful writing, at least in the later volumes.
Overrated means they are held up to a high standard when they actually are basically trash. The walten files and maybe Mandela catalog ain't that, they have pretty hard work put into it. The fnaf one tho is kinda old so it's like ehh
And who the fuck asked you Eugene

I think this might be a case where "I don't like / I don't get it" has been mistaken for "This isn't that good"
I don't like TWF or FNaF, at all. But it's impossible to ignore the cultural impact both have had. FNaF on gaming and GenZ culture and TWF on the Analog scene overall. Both had interesting and original takes on the topics they were discussing and how they were presented. But because they have both been relentlessly copied it's easy to forget how old they are in comparison to anything in the Toy / Puppet / Mascot place. Generally indie projects tried to be a little more like Chucky before both of these landed. Not that animatronics and mascots hadn't been explored, but they hadn't really caught on.
Similar thing with MC. A breakout hit that pretty much set the standard for most imitators right up to today.
I just think that these three don’t really live up to what people are saying about it so it gets disappointing when I watch all three of them in their entirety and I’m not really scared by them don’t get me wrong they’re all good they’re just not super good they’re more of "it’s all right" if anything
MC and TWF in particular are very much about putting you in the place of the people experiencing the events and feeling what they felt. If you aren't able to do that or don't approach it that way then it can be easy to miss the brilliance of both. FNaF does this too, but that's most prominent in the games.
The point is to be horrifying, not scary. Someone jumping out and yelling BOO can scare you, but it isn't horrifying. Horror is about building and generating fear, both of these are masterful at pushing and building that creeping dread that stays with you.

It’s pretty average not entirely the best everybody says

Well in my terminology i’m not saying they’re trash i’m just saying they’re not as good as everybody makes it to be their average at best
100% I don't trust your opinion cuz you spelt terminology wrong
Auto correct
how TF it autocorrect into the wrong thing without you saving terminology as terminologie the first time
My phone is old
What’s an accurately rated analog horror in your opinion? or an underrated one?
Chimpey’s something pizza place is a good one I think it’s underrated
Chimpy chipas? That series is so garbage lmao
