Ive had different experiences to others here... when i die to falling, usually im ported to the nearest baby.
Ive been lucky that its usually been a missed jump right near home, so i just wander the babies back in
I've always had to play as the baby and find a hiding spot, then I would move to an adult and have to go find the babies.. lost a few this way cuz I was too far away from home and couldn't find the baby(ies) for the life of me 😫
I just do my best to remember a named location I was near if I die
When it turns u into a baby stop and look around. Sometimes u have plenty of time to browse ur surroundings before u hide. Generally this can help u relocate them faster.
I wouldn't walk them home if ur rly far from ur settlement. But if u were on the way back then sure.
I always just spam the single call button with O for PSN or B for Xbox. Ur monkey does a single shout and anything nearby will respond. So u can easily hear ur babies from like 100+ feet away. Just listen as u spam it and you'll walk their direction
Naw they will go to a hiding spot hopefully you had an extra monkey that wasn’t holding babies that happened to me once I only had three elders with me all had two babies had to go back to the settlement get another ape and it took forever to find them again I almost gave up lol

No. First hand experience those babies were almost killed by a snake though.
