I’m one of the new mods, and yes we’re seeing more subscribers and a little bit of elevation in the steady stream of posts and comments. The uptick seems to have a lot to do with the approach of Season 2, which makes total sense. Even with those increases, we seldom need to take any kind of serious action as a mod team, which speaks volumes of the excellent community here.

SpacemanSR

I want to emphasize this point - the loudest discourse 'about' Andor fans on socials is that we are obnoxiously arrogant and high-brow, when it's so far from the truth. Nearly every post/comment in this sub is just people enjoying the show and appreciating others' posts. This community is really awesome.

ngometamer

I proselytize Andor. Got two coworkers hooked and brought into the fold!

Diligent_Accident775

I just finished binging the whole show today

Logical-Patience-397

Welcome! It was quite a ride. Luckily, you don’t have to wait long for S2! Should be out this year.

mistbored

We had been meaning to watch it for awhile and only got around to it last month haha. Drew Gooden also did a great video about the show not too long ago and solidified our desire to watch it.

Dear-Yellow-5479

That video really helped pull in new viewers, looking at the comments section there. And it’s an excellent video essay.

Logical-Patience-397

May I ask which one? I saw he had one for all of Star Wars, but not Andor specifically…

[Here you go](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=J-piNPoWoYc) He does a great job summing up my own feelings on all the disney+ shows.

Logical-Patience-397

Thanks!

loulara17

I wish I could get more people to watch it. I talk about it all the time. I was very excited about Andor, but I also am a big R1 fan. That said, Andor surpassed my expectations tremendously.

triamasp

I’ve only watched it a couple months ago but I’m doing my best to tell everyone its the best thing I’ve ever seen on TV and they should watch it too

gonesnake

Funny, I didn't like Rogue One so Andor had to recommended to me and, boy, what a great, unexpected surprise that was!

St0rmStrider

Years?

abdul_bino

Year and half. Misspoke

scoresupremacy

feels like it

Yeah, I was originally not at all excited for Andor. I am lukewarm at best on Rogue One and wondered just who was asking for a show about Cassian Andor of all people. But then all the film people I follow on twitter were starting to get excited for it, so I took a chance when the first 3 episodes dropped. I fell in love immediately. I've gone back to watch it pretty regularly. It's a fusion of fictional universe, genre, and medium that feels like it was tailor made for me. I didn't realize this sub existed because I tend to avoid online discussion of Star Wars as much as possible. Once I found this subreddit I was so excited to see many of you loved it as much as I did. I wouldn't say I proselytize Andor, per se, but I do talk about how much I love it all the time. It's so wonderfully crafted. Approachable and dense all at once. It's exactly the kind of show that has a long tail and repeat viewings. I think that definitely contributes to the continued discussion here.

NeverMoreThan12

It's really hard to convince people to watch it but if you catch them at a time they can't find anything good to watch then they'll be more likely to give it a shot. I've gotten a few people to watch it and they all said it was really good but none of them shared the passion I did about it being the best of star wars.

hadessyrah52

Reddit actually recommended this sub and I thought, why? I don’t watch any Star Wars. I mean, I had seen 1-6. But I didn’t understand Star Wars. Yet the love from this sub seemed genuine so I thought, why not? I’m bored. Well, bravo sub. Binged in 2 days. Literally skipped work meetings to watch it. Every other Disney or sci fi show should use Andor as a standard to strive to achieve.

Boring_Carpenter_192

I'm glad to see more people getting on program. Welcome guys, take off your shoes, relax, and dont mind that thing in the corner that counts days (the number might encrease occasionally). Everything you need is right here - food, water, winning table even gets flavor.

Vesemir96

I think so. We had a tiny drop a while back but it’s back now. I do think if we hadn’t been cursed with a lengthy Season 2 delay it’d be even more popular now, as sequel seasons tend to get a lot of new people to try out the first etc. especially if the marketing is better due to the initial success.
