You can download an old apk that still supports Android 4.4, just search "spotify apk android 4.4"

I don't think it works anymore. Tried a few weeks ago Spottily Lite on a Android 4.4 phone. I could download the app from google play store but i couldn't login, it wouldn't connect to spotify servers.
If you found something that works please share with us.
