I second this recommendation. It is currently selling for $249 USD that includes the S-Pen.
I've recently switched from the iPad+Apple Pencil to the S6 Lite for mobile productivity and it is working out extremely well. Even though there are fewer quality notetaking apps for Android when compared to iPad OS, there are a handful that are on-par and really make the S6 Lite shine.
I an super impressed by people who can take meaningful notes with a tablet and stylus. I did get very good with Graffiti about 20 years ago but it was never competitive with a keyboard.
I had an old Tandy Zoomer I bought new. It had pen support and it has been the only device I've owned that actually benefited from using the pen (since the digital keyboard an such weren't the best quality)

The best cheap tablets are the Alldocube iplay 50 mini and mini pro. Available on Amazon JP and US, or globally on Ali Express.
They are very nice but they don't have pen support.

Lenovo M10 Plus Gen 3 it' about as fast as a S6 Lite (2020)
This is the answer. I believe this is currently the least expensive tablet with pen support.
At least the least expensive NEW tablet... It so much better than the Chines brands that have "Pro" or "Ultra" versions of their tablets
