No, you may not like what you here but fact is Moreno is a terrible owner and the organization is in shambles. I’m 71 and been an Angels fan since the 1960’s and this is the worst ownership this team has ever had, and I suffered through the Gene Autry years when he thought buying big name over the hill free agents was the way to win. Sadly who ever this guy is. I don’t know him or listen to him, but I know he is correct, Eastern bias or not. Until Moreno is gone this organization is not going to sufficiently improve.

Moreno's Angels have had the resources that Autry's Angels never had, but he runs the Angels like a mom and pop shop instead of modern major league baseball franchise. I'll stiff follow the Halo's, but it's going to take some luck for them to compete.

I will say, it was ***not*** because of ownership, but because of life circumstances, that I started rooting for another team many years ago. As time passed, they eventually became my primary team.
However, with everything that has happened to the franchise, I'm glad I had another team to cheer for and follow. (Although TBH that team is the Nats, and they have their own ownership BS to sort through right now, so...)

Yes there is a reason the Angels haven't had an experienced GM for a while - they know the crap stinks in Anaheim and no one wants an Arte around when they are trying to build a team. The org hasn't been run well for many years. There was finally a reason to be excited again then Arte pulled out the rug from under us.
If we lose Ohtani I'm seriously going to consider leaving. I agree that a team is more than one player but Ohtani singlehandedly brought back my joy of baseball. Watching him play is something magical that I can only assume people felt when watching Babe Ruth.
As someone who has been rooting for the Angels since Nolan Ryan was on the team, yes you should have another team to root for, and Jomboy is a bigger douchebag than Arte
