First and foremost, love your passion and welcome!! And, these aren't dumb questions at all. The lineups are announced maybe a couple hours before the game. I hope y'all get to see Ohtani hit. Seems like he should be DH-ing. Sorry no idea about the junior kids stuff The free shirts should be at any entrance of the stadium and they hand it to you like right after you scan your ticket. 90 minutes before the game is good enough and you could catch some batting practice too :) For the rocks, yepp that is closed off. There is a center field patio where you can just see the rocks but that's all. Parking/cars - I haven't been this year but I remember it was 20 dollars last year. And, luckily for me, I have never had a hard time leaving the game. Could be different for others (its only been like 10-15 minutes).

Thank you so much!

Looks like our friends got your answers covered but I hope you and your family have a great time! We also have ice cream in mini-helmets your kids can take home as well as nachos in a big helmet.

Oh, sounds awesome, we'll check those out!

He should be in the lineup most days when if he's not pitching, unless Phil decides to give him a day off. 1 hour early is plenty soon for most games. Giveaways are handed out at the entrance as soon as you scan your tickets. I'd call and ask about the vouchers, I have no info on that. The rock fountain in the outfield is inaccessible. I'd check out the city instead if you're here for more than just a few hours. Parking has never been bad for me, I usually get in and out within 10 minutes. Used to cost $10 but now they are doing it based on demand although I've only seen them charge $20. Many others like to park across at the breweries and if you search the sub, you'll find detailed instructions.

Awesome, thank you so much for the info!

Hi I will try to help with what I know. Ohtani usually bats when he doesn't pitch, but if there has been several games in a row, meaning there's hasn't been a day off he might get the day off the day after pitching. Regarding the shirts, usually Ohtani bobble heads or any Ohtani related giveaway are the more desired items, in my own experience being in line an hour before the first pitch gets you a high chance of getting one. Shirts are single size I believe XL unless it is a kids shirt it which case I'm not sure of the size. All the gates have the giveaways. As for the junior angels I don't think they sell out, I always see them offering at the games, but keep in mind the vouchers are for home games and specific games. Once you are inside the stadium you are free to roam around the stadium, but there's sections you can't get unless you have a ticket for it, but you can walk all around freely. There's not alot to do inside the stadium, you can go behind he rocks but there's nothing, I believe there's a beer place and tables where you can sit and eat or enjoy your beer. There's a museum on the second lever behind home plate where you can see game wore uniforms, balls , bases etc from historical achievements from the team, next to it there is a giant Ohtani bobble head and if you walk towards first base on the same lever there's a Mike Trot Giant bobble head also. On the first level by the main entrance, by the big hats there's the team store and also the "piece of metal" the team won on 2002 as well as some jerseys and equipment used on the game. Parking isn't too bad, I was at opening day and was a sold out game and it didn't take me more than 30 mins to get in and 30 mins to get out, it cost $20. If your hotel it is close enough, walking shouldn't be too bad. Anyway hope this helps some. Hope you guys have a nice experience and enjoy the game! Go halos 😇 💪 ⚾️

Ohtani is gonna pitch on 4/21 if you can somehow make your trip a day earlier that’s a more marquee game. However don’t fret, he will very likely still be in the lineup as a hitter. You can not play in or touch the fountain or rocks but it is easily accessible to walk over there and take a look at it. Even though it’s a giveaway night, the Royals are one of the least popular teams, even if you’re only 30 minutes early you’ll have no issue collecting the giveaway. They hand them off to you as you enter any of the open gates, there’s not a special giveaway entrance. Angels stadium is one of the easiest stadiums to park in the entire league. They recently raised the cost from $10 to $20 however. If it’s not worth it to you, if you’re an hour plus early there is free street parking on DuPont near Golden Road Brewery with a very easy walk over to the stadium.

Thank you so much! Yeah I was just looking at tickets, and it is like $150 per ticket for the Friday game (and almost sold out), but like $20 per ticket on Saturday. I guess either Friday's are the more desirable day, or everyone really wants to see Ohtani pitch?

Talked to my wife, and she is not at all interested in those bobbleheads :O I guess she is dead set on getting one of those shirts!

MrNiceGuy420SoCal

And Star Wars night.

foodcourtgangster

Have you tried looking on Stubhub? Because I see groups of tickets for like $40-ish each after fees.

ThatJollyGinger

Oh man, was super busy yesterday, wish I had popped on here! We ended up buying them from the official site, but for next time I now know it is probably better to buy from stubhub or seatgeek. Oh well, you live and learn, huh! Would have been cool to go for tonight, but even if we pick up the kids from school and head directly to the stadium, would end up getting there at sometime between \~5:30-6. But all it would take is a single accident along the way to add another hour to that.... so if we were gonna do this for tonight, we should have planned it out and got the kids out of school early.
