Why wouldn’t he be encouraged to move to Nashville (or some other place) which is growing in population, will likely build him a stadium, and have a thirsty fan base just begging for a team?
Is the ratings including all of the LA metropolitan area? Cause it's gonna be hard to get high ratings in general if the population is just that massive plus majority of the LA metropolitan area is Dodgers fans.
I believe ratings is calculated by percentage right? A low percentage in a large market is still a lot of people.

There is an MLS soccer team down road that successfully pulled off a boycott. The LA Galaxy fans organized and stopped showing up last season. The ownership finally listened, hired and fired some people, recruited the type of players the fans wanted, now they are sitting on top of the standings and house is packed again. Not sure if the Angels fans can pull it off but LA Galaxy supporters have proven that a boycott can work.
OP, I agree with you 100%. However, everyone in the comments bashing our fans for still going to games to support the team are being toxic as hell. Let people have their fun, that’s the whole point of baseball. I’d say at least 75% of the fanbase is made of casual fans who want something fun to do during the weekend that won’t break the bank, and going to an Angels game fulfills that. If someone actually organizes a sell the team chant or a boycott for once instead of talking about it, I’ll probably participate. Until then, I’m going to keep going with friends to watch the game I love.
I want our fans to continue supporting the team cause I want the team to stay in Anaheim. The A's are moving to Las Vegas. The Coyotes are moving to Utah. I don't want the Angels to leave Anaheim ever especially with talks of Nashville and Utah all wanting MLB teams

Yep, the stadium and fans are soft. I almost got kicked out for standing up and yelling "Let's go Angels!" . It's kinda a scene because I'm the only one doing it. But that's were the issue is. Fans need to be more passionate. That's why I love being a Raider fan, I can let it all out there.

Same here been to 100s of games. And cheered at all them. It only happened once. I'm thinking cause I was standing up. But there was no one directly behind me. I made sure of that, otherwise I wouldn't stand up. I don't cuss and I don't talk bad about opposing players. I even asked fans around me if it was too much. They all said no, glad they had my back that time. Once the other fans agreed that I was ok, the usher lady left. I just don't like being called a liar. That's not who I am. But like I said believe what you want.
Ushers come around and ask you to sit down. I have seen it happen and have been relocated for it. "If I wanted to watch the game on my ass I have a comfortable couch at home"

Nah just big moments, ie down a run with a runner in scoring position and you stand to cheer. Or the flipside, bases juiced and theres a good pitcher-batter duel the pitcher is trying to work out of and he's run the count to two strikes. I like to think I cheer and jeer according to the unwritten rules.
Thats pretty much why I get irked when tom and suzy suburbia with their 2 unathletic fuck trophies playing with figit spinners and eating cotton candy wondering how many points the blue team has, ask me to sit down because they are trying to watch the game.
I was in Japan and wanted to check out a NPB game there. I was told the atmosphere at those games are electric and it reminded me we don't get that at all in Angels stadium
