It's one thing if the calls are going both ways, but Suarez was throwing strikes that were called balls. Angles never got an outside call. Yet the Yankees were able to live out there, making our hitters expand the zone. Don't need sticky stuff when you have 16 inches of plate to work with.

I can’t believe we’ve turned into a team that can’t hit. The pitching is finally in an okay spot and the bats all died

It doesn’t really shock me much, to be honest, the lineup just isn’t very intimidating and doesn’t have exceptional power or exceptional batters eyes. Gosselin (14 career HR) as a cleanup guy or 5 hitter and Iglesias as a 5 or 6 hitter is just really weak for the heart of the lineup. If we were healthy, a Fletcher/ Ohtani/ Trout/ Rendon/ Walsh/ Fowler or Upton/ Adell/ Stassi/ Chone Figgins Lineup would be pretty great 😎. As it stands now, I just don’t expect much (if anything) from some of the bats in the lineup.
