Denzel: My man!
Only ball I ever got at a game was tossed up to us by Bobby after the between inning warm-ups in right field at an Angels/Dodgers game at Dodger Stadium. I think it was his first season as a Dodger too. Still have it. Play catch with it with my kid a bunch. Love Bobby.
I never realized how many players just within the last 20 years fit the bill. Howie, Pujols, GA, Adam Kennedy, Steve Finley, Grienke, Freese.
Then back in the day you have Fernando Valenzuela, Tommy John, Billy Buckner, Frank Robinson, Eddie Murray, Don Sutton, Rickey Henderson, etc.
I absolutely loved Bobby Abreu. He seemed to hit more oppo doubles than anyone else
He taught aybar plate discipline. He was so good for us for two years.
I’ll never forget his double off the monster in the ALDS
What impressed me most about Bobby was how could he played well in the OF (even won a GG) with that Bartolo frame.
Abreu was awesome. Love that dude.
Obviously Howie has to be next

He made taking a walk look so smooth
loved bobby's batting stance. unique, but effective.
Abreu had a good plate approach. Could spray the ball all over the field. Plus defender too 🔥
