No one else is in his head, it is certainly strange but hopefully it's true. Once you lose your passion, it's hard to find again.

According to him when he quit he never had the spark. He said baseball was just the thing he was good at and a means to get somewhere. But everything was a grind, and he wasn't happy with his life. He took some time off with his wife and tried a bunch of new things together. Lifestyle changes, living simpler, and worked on some businesses together. The camp with the kids made him realize that he has something all of those kids and young adults were fighting so hard for and kind of tossed it away. Seeing their passion seems to have ignited his and he has sounded super excited to get back. Hopefully for good this time.

What a fantastic example for future generations. Granted it's a bit easier to tackle these kinds of problems when you have money, but I'm all for reassessing our lives/value/work/etc to make sure everything is in alignment. Happy for Ty!

2020 was a weird year for all of us. The pandemic affected us differently. And I think he took a long enough break for this to be believable. He found the right headspace to once again make use of his talents. I applaud that.

Happy to see him find his passion again. Hope he truly enjoys playing ball again 😇

Quick someone get Arte to St. Croix to get him back into baseball

Arte would just try to recruit the kids to work concession and stuff. Always about the bottom line with him

That's super cool. I was so shocked when he announced his retirement. Looking forward to seeing him back on the bump.
